Process reliability in bolting technology

After screw assembly, the assembled parts can be used as if they were one piece, meeting the highest requirements. The purpose of the bolt in this process is to hold the components firmly so that they cannot be displaced by external forces. The preload force obtained has to be on the one hand sufficient to hold the parts together, but on the other hand, the bolt and the parts must not be damaged by an overload of force. The preload force is difficult to measure during mass productions. Therefore, torque or angle are the predominant process variables.

Thecomplexity of determining the correct torque or angle for an assembly and meeting the highest requirements for process reliability requires expert knowledge of bolting tool design and process variables.

Calibration is not only a required regulation of DIN EN ISO 9001, but also helps to ensure the consistent high quality of your product.
DEPRAG has an accredited in-house calibration laboratory, where, for example, DAkkS calibrations according to DIN 51309 are performed for passive transducers.
