This charge is found to be proportional to the applied force. <\/p>\n<p>The torque is measured using the ring element shown. The single quartz disks are arranged in such a way, <strong>that the tangential forces<\/strong> appearing <strong>can be measured<\/strong>. The transducer carries a high preload which enables it to transfer the torque appearing through the frictional resistance to the quartz elements. The individual elements are arranged in parallel, so that the load appearing is proportional to the torque transferred. Since the isolation resistance of the charge amplifier and the measuring instrument is of a certain size, the charge produced flows only gradually. Therefore, piezoelectric transducers are only marginally suitable for static measurement.     <\/p>\n<p>However, for use in bolting technology, the Piezo transducer is very suitable due to its:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list-normal\">\n<li>extreme high dynamics<\/li>\n<li>excellent linearity over a wide measurement range<\/li>\n<li>its very small size<\/li>\n<li>non-existent wear parts<\/li>\n<li>its high rigidity<\/li>\n<li>and outstanding overall <strong>measurement qualities <\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Particularly very high sampling rates (10 kHz) <strong>allow the acquisition of <\/strong>hard screw-joint <strong>torque <\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>All DEPRAG measuring screwdrivers measure the reaction torque, so that no measurement of moving parts is required. The transducers are designed for connection to the corresponding measuring electronics. <\/p>\n<p>The torque wrenches also allow on-site testing of stationary screwdrivers without the need to remove them from an automatic screwdriving station. The torque wrenches are equipped with side flats on the measuring head, so that they can be clamped in a vice. <\/p>\n<p>In conjunction with the appropriate measuring instrument, these torque wrenches can also be used for testing manufactured connections by retightening (or loosening) the connection.
