Screwdriving controller
In addition to the screwdriver, the screwdriver controller is an essential component of the electronic screwdriving system. According to the parameterized screw tightening process, the controller controls the EC drive of the screwdriver, evaluates the measuring signals and provides all necessary operator functions and documentation.
The EC- and EC-Servo systems offered are equipped with highly dynamic brushless servomotors; they differ in the way torque measurements are generated.
While the EC technology used with theAST5 and AST11sequence controllers is based on theexact measurement of the motor current, the EC-Servo system with theAST30-31 and AST40controller evaluates signals from thetransducer integratedin the tool.
Additional selection criteria for the application-specific and most suitable bolting system, in addition to the torque values, are the different possibilities for documentation of the bolting result as well as the different interface for integration with the system environment.

Function controllers – fc
Function controllers are used to increase process reliability in manual screw assembly. They allow the monitoring of each individual tightening process and guarantee the integrity of the bolt connection on a given product.
Screwdriver function control fc11
The function control of the fc11 screwdriver and the portable screwdrivers of the MICROMAT-F/MINIMAT-F series offer an intelligent and reliable solution in the process.
This screwing system counts the mounted screws, monitors their screwing time, shuts off only when the preset torque is reached and recognizes a part change: it is 100% self-monitoring and eliminates costly inspection.
Control of the fc20 screwdriver function
The fc20 can also monitor complex assembly processes using programmable sequences. The controller can also manage up to 3 different screwdriver model connections for complex multi-layer assemblies, which may require different screws and torques.
