Automobile headrest assembly machine
Mandatory process:
Mounting of the magnetic release unit on a car headrest with 8 stations. This machine includes pressing-insertion, screwing, centering, different parts handling systems and a camera monitoring system.
Station 1:
In this station, the operator manually loads the base body, the cover, the magnet, as well as the manual contact of the power cable.
Station 2:
Control of part positioning; also automatic feeding and pin press insertion.
Station 3:
Automatic feeding and positioning of a Heli-Coil spring and a latch.
Station 4:
A ratchet is automatically fed and then placed on the subassembled parts.
Station 5:
The release unit housing cover is taken from a pallet of parts and precisely positioned.
Station 6:
Testing the holding force and measuring the release time, which must be less than 10 milliseconds to be acceptable.
Station 7:
Automatic printing and subsequent placement of a label.
Station 8:
This station is not currently in use. It is prepared to accept future integration of an automatic unloading station.
