Vacuum cleaner housing assembly

Process required:

 

Mounting of the cable hook to the vacuum cleaner handle and different tests of the vacuum cleaner handle functionality. If a test is not correct, the machine will not release the defective part for the next process.

Step 1:
Manual loading of the preassembled telescopic handle and a spring.
The slider switch on the handle to control the vacuum power is in position 0.

Step 2:
The inserted handle is clamped with various clamping devices and a counterbore, which also checks the inside parts of the handle, on the machine. Are the ridges inside the handle positioned correctly and were there no assembly errors in any of the previous assembly processes?

Step 3:
The handle is attached to the handle tube.

Step 4:
A hydraulic cylinder moves the slide switch on the vacuum cleaner handle from position 0 (vacuum cleaner off) to position 3 (maximum suction power). Simultaneously a test is performed, if the handle is positioned at a predefined angle of inclination.

Step 5:
The pre-assembled cable hook must be attached to the handle. The required screws are automatically supplied by a vibratory feeder and tightened with a MINIMAT-C inline screwdriver spindle. The integrated depth control checks the correct screw depth. At the same time, a pull test establishes whether the handle tube is securely clamped and whether the handle is positively seated.

Step 6:
The cable hook is rotated 30 degrees.

Step 7:
Embossing: Each module is provided with a manufacturing identification number. In this way, traceability within quality management is possible and it is possible to recall the manufacturing status of the assembled telescopic handle.
