Assembly of food processor housing components
Process required:
Automated assembly system for screw assembly of food processor housing components.
Step 1:
Automatic feeding of pre-assembled components by conveyor belt.
Step 2:
The component is positioned and fixed in place by means of a down holder and a counter support. They are equipped with flexible spring pins.
Step 3:
At station 1, the lower part of the housing is screwed to the inside from below. At the same time, another MINIMAT EC screwdriver assembles three screws from behind to attach the handle and the electronic holder to the housing.
Step 4:
AST11 bolting sequence controllers are used for process monitoring. If an error occurs, the rejected component is automatically sent to the repair workstation.
Step 5:
After each successful assembly, the next screw is fired by the spiral vibratory bowl (with hopper).
Step 6:
The following assembly status check takes place at station 2.
Step 7:
The component is also held in place and positioned correctly using the downward facing bracket and countertop bracket at this station.
Step 8:
Two symmetrically designed XYZ screwdriving units, each with a customized screwdriving function module , perform the assembly simultaneously at a 45-degree angle to the component.
Step 9:
AST11 controllers check and analyze the bolt assembly procedure.
Step 10:
The screws are fed through the double spiral vibrating vessel with hopper.
Step 11:
A 90° rotating unit is used to send the rejected components to the repair workstation. Here the operator decides whether repair is possible or whether the component is removed and discarded. Manual repairs of the screw assembly are checked by integrated sensors: if the repair has not been performed correctly, the system will not approve the part for further processing.
