Mounting system for fuse boxes
Process Required:
Semi-automatic manual workstation for the assembly of fuse housings (two components) at 3 screw locations
The workstation is based on a DCAM – (D) EPRAG C OMPACT A SSEMBLY M ODULE ) which is equipped with 3-axis screwdriver function module with automatic screwdriver feed and integrated workpiece presence check.
The operator loads both components into the workpiece fixture and manually rotates the index turntable 180 degrees.
After the automatic locking of the partial fixture and while the screwdriver function module (SFM) assembles the screws, the operator loads new components into the front side fixture at station 1.
The index table is automatically released after the screws are correctly assembled. The operator rotates the index table, unloads the complete part and reloads new parts.
