The particular strength of theMICROMAT screwdriver, barely larger than a ballpoint pen, is thevery low torque capacity of 2 Ncm (3 inch ounces) to 70 Ncm (6.2 inch pounds).This screwdriver is not only capable of driving screws, but of actually tightening components.

The MICROMAT achieves its high torque accuracy through the proven DEPRAG disengaging and locking clutch principle. This special clutch design enables our screwdrivers to achieve extremely high torque accuracy, in many cases below ≤3 % of standard deviation, which remains constant over several million cycles. DEPRAG pneumatic screwdrivers with a locking clutch operated under suitable surrounding conditions achieve a Cmk value of ≥1.67 with a tolerance requirement of 15 % in relation to 6 Sigma according to ISO 5393. A Cmk value of 1.67 means that there is a failure rate of only 0.6 per million screw assemblies.

Screwdriver MICROMAT-ESD
Our ESD screwdrivers are specially designed for operation in electrostatically exposed areas and where ESD-safe assembly is required (specifications according to EN 100 015).
The supplied conductive pressure hose allows a simple, direct and grounded connection without the need for an additional cable connection. An insulating connector with a resistance of 1 MΩ (available as an optional item) can be installed between the tool’s air hose and the main air connection.
