The stationary electric screwdriver series 342E with mechanical cutting clutch is the optimal solution for workstations where compressed air is not desired or not available. This expansion of the screwdriver range has set a new standard: DEPRAG screwdriver solutions are now available for every application.
The strength of the MINIMAT-E spindle screwdriver lies in the tightening torque range of the screw set from 0.1 Nm to 4.8 Nm. High speeds of 650 to 2000 rpm ensure short cycle times.
The MINIMAT-E screwdriver operates according to the well-established principle of the MINIMAT mechanical locking clutch. The use of the locking clutch guarantees a torque accuracy of 3% standard deviation, independent of the threaded joint.
In many cases, however, even better accuracy can be achieved so that, under certain conditions, a machine capability index of ≥1.67 can be achieved even with a tolerance requirement of ± 10%. This means that the error rate is less than 0.6 per million screw assemblies. To further improve processing safety, the screwing depth and screwdriver locking can be additionally monitored.
Depending on the application case, very short cycle times can be achieved, as this screwdriver operates at maximum speed up to the clutch closing point. Whereas to achieve the stated accuracy, other controlled screwdrivers are subject to a speed reduction before shutdown.

The screwdriver is available with remote start or push-to-start PLC signal. In addition to screw mounting at torque, the remote-start version can perform screw mounting at the designated screwing depth (with optional depth sensor) or a defined loosening procedure by reversing the screwdriver.
The options for inserting additional tools and components, such as guide sleeves or vacuum connections, are designed in the same way as the DEPRAG MINIMAT size 2 pneumatic screwdriver motor, so that identical accessories can be used.
