The particular strength of theMICROMAT screwdriver, barely larger than a ballpoint pen, is the very low torque capacity of 2 Ncm (3 inch ounces) to 70 Ncm (6.2 inch pounds). This screwdriver is not only capable of driving screws, but also of actually tightening threaded connections.
The outstanding build quality of the slim MICROMAT screwdriver and theability to be used in a heavy industrial environment ensure extremely high uptime.
The MICROMAT achieves its high torque accuracy through the proven DEPRAG disconnecting and locking clutch principle. Using our specially designed closing clutch, it guarantees a torque accuracy of ≤3 % standard deviation, independent of the screw joint. In many cases and under suitable conditions, even higher torque accuracy is possible and a Cmk value of ≥ 1.67 can be achieved even with a tolerance of 15 %. This kind of accuracy means that the error rate is below 0.6 errors per million assemblies. To further increase the processing reliability, it is possible to additionally control the screw depth and the screwdriver shut-off.
DEPRAG screwdriving spindles are easy to integrate and have very small mounting dimensions.
